Rental Amenities Include
- Multiple covered pavilions with picnic tables
- Bathrooms, (including swim showers available for rentals that include swimming.)
- Basketball court and sand volleyball court
- Hammock “Village”
- Swings, gaga ball pits, tether ball
- Fire pit available seasonally
- Grill upon request, (with additional security/cleaning deposit )
- Catch and release fishing
- Swimming, available seasonally, requires certified lifeguards provided by Lake Nixon, (extra charge applies)
- Canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, pedalboats available seasonally, (lifeguards not required for boating, life jackets provided and required for boaters under age 16.)
- Optional access to ice machine and basic kitchen, (not available during summer camp season.)
An advance security deposit based on the size of your rental will be required to secure the date/time of your reservation. The balance of your charges will be due 30 days before your event. If your reservation is made within 30 days of your event, your full balance is due to secure your reservation. Your invoice will list all the amenities included in your rental along with their associated costs and will include a security deposit based on the size of your event. Your deposit will be refunded after your rental provided the facilities are left as found and all guidelines are followed. Renter may either provide a certificate of insurance or all attendees must complete a waiver before event. Lake Nixon is a smoke-free, alcohol-free facility.
Event Rentals
- Rental reservations require a minimum of four hours.
- Scheduled rental times include the time a rental group needs to set up and take down for their event. PLEASE INCLUDE SET UP AND TAKE DOWN TIME IN YOUR REQUESTED TIME
- Rentals on holiday weekends may incur a 10% fee to reflect increased labor costs.
- 50 people or fewer: $200 (4 hours); $50 for each additional hour
- 50-100 people: $325 (4 hours); $80 for each additional hour
- 100-150 people: $450 (4 hours)/ $110 for each additional hour
- 150 people or more: we will reply to your inquiry with a customized quote based on your event needs
- Optional access to basic kitchen and ice machine: additional fee based on group size)
- Use of enclosed, air-conditioned ``Back Porch`` building with tables and chairs - pricing based on event size and length
Camping and Overnight Rentals
- Tent camping: $45/tent
- Overnight indoor sleeping arrangements may be available during the spring and fall as part of a custom event package. Options include:
- House with three bedrooms, (one room with a queen bed and 2 rooms with bunkbed sleeping for total of 8,) a full kitchen, and two bathrooms with showers.
- Heated/cooled metal building that can accommodate inflatable mattresses for a larger group wanting to sleep indoors with some climate control.
Swimming Information & Rates
- Swimming is typically available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Swimming rates are in addition to base rental rate.
- Paid, certified lifeguards provided by Lake Nixon are required for swimming. Swimming is contingent on weather and on availability of a minimum of two lifeguards. Your swim charges will be refunded if no guards are booked by one week before your event. Boating will be available for all events unless lightning is reported in the area.
- Younger swimmers may be asked to pass a supervised test from lifeguard to use the diving board and the “deep end”.
