Hallie’s journey with Lake Nixon spans from her early days as a summer staff member to returning as part of the leadership team in 2024. During the school year, she teaches fifth grade and she holds a master’s degree in reading education. As a returning camp staff and full-time teacher, Hallie brings both classroom expertise and camp experience to her role as Program Director. The Lake Nixon experience became even more meaningful to Hallie when her daughter joined as a first-time camper in 2024, allowing her to see the magic of camp through both an educator’s and a parent’s eyes. When not teaching or planning for the camp’s future with the Lake Nixon leadership team, She enjoys photography, reading, and family time. Hallie says she is “excited to build on our successes and create memorable experiences for our campers” at here at Lake Nixon!
